1. 1. No Check-In with a Partner Who Is Not a Muhrim
      This rule for Sharia Hotels is a significant difference from conventional hotels. You will be asked to show a marriage certificate or proof of marriage. If you don’t have a marriage certificate, you can show a wedding photo or other proof that you and your partner are married.
      What if you can’t prove it? You will be asked to stay at the hotel.
   2. Shouting or Disturbing Other Guests
      Hotel rooms are adjacent to each other, so you should not shout or disturb other guests, such as by casually knocking on other guests’ doors. This can cause discomfort to other guests. Furthermore, such actions are considered impolite. Try not to make noise and disturb other guests, as the hotel is a place for guests to rest.
   3. You Must Not Jump the Line at Check-In
      When checking in at a hotel, there will undoubtedly be many guests checking in. Therefore, you must queue to check-in at the hotel. If you skip the line or jump the queue, you will disturb other guests and could cause a disturbance.
   4. Paying for a Hotel Stay + Deposit
      Hotel guests may be surprised when asked for a deposit or security deposit when checking into a hotel. They have already paid for their stay. So, what is this deposit or security deposit for?
      “A deposit is money that will be returned to hotel guests if they do not damage the hotel facilities or use other amenities.”
      Therefore, guests will be asked for a deposit upon check-in.
   5. Bringing Alcohol, Drugs, and Sharp Weapons
      Bringing alcohol, drugs, and sharp weapons is strictly prohibited in hotels. This can cause harm to yourself, others, and the hotel.
   6. Gambling
      Gambling is also prohibited when staying in a hotel, as a hotel is a place to stay, not a place to gamble.
   7. Smoking in Non-Smoking Rooms
      Smoking is also prohibited in non-smoking rooms, as it can cause the room to smell of cigarette smoke. Non-smoking rooms are designed to be smoke-free, making it difficult to completely eliminate cigarette smoke in non-smoking rooms.
      If you smoke, it’s best to stay in a smoking room.
   8. Bringing Food and Drinks with Strong Smells
      Food and drinks with strong odors, such as durian, are prohibited in hotels, as the odor will disturb other guests and be difficult to eliminate in the room.

      Guests are prohibited from bringing non-halal drinks or food into the hotel without exception
