Celebrating Unisi’s 10th Anniversary: Healthy Walk and Table Tennis Championship Strengthen Employee Togetherness
Yogyakarta – The spirit of togetherness, health, and sportsmanship marked the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Unisi Hotel Malioboro through the Healthy Walk and Unisi Table Tennis Championship, held on Thursday (20/8) and Monday (24/8).
The series of activities began with the Healthy Walk, which was attended by employees from all departments at Unisi Hotel Malioboro. The activity started at Unisi Hotel Malioboro and ended at Alun-Alun Kidul Yogyakarta. The event opened with remarks from the Director of Unisi Hotel Malioboro, followed by a warm-up session and a group walk to the destination.
Throughout the journey, employees showed enthusiasm and a strong sense of togetherness as they interacted with one another. Participants also passed through the Yogyakarta 0 Kilometer area and took part in a group exercise session before continuing the activity. The Healthy Walk concluded with a shared meal, providing an opportunity for employees to strengthen their relationships and camaraderie.
The spirit of togetherness continued through the Unisi Table Tennis Championship, held at Surya Prima Sports Yogyakarta on Monday (24/8). The competition featured eight teams representing various departments, with both team and individual matches conducted using a knockout system.
The event was also attended by the Commissioner of PT Unisia Kreasi Sejahtera, the Sharia Supervisory Board, and a representative of the Head of the Bank Syariah Nasional branch. The Head of the Organizing Committee, Rama, expressed his appreciation to all participants and everyone who supported the event. Meanwhile, the Director of Unisi Hotel Malioboro emphasized the importance of such activities in strengthening relationships among employees and fostering a positive and harmonious working environment.
Following a series of matches, the Food & Beverage Service Department won 1st Place, followed by the Admin & General Department in 2nd Place, the Human Resources Department in 3rd Place, and the Sales & Marketing Department in 4th Place. The event concluded with the presentation of medals and trophies to the winners.
More than just sporting activities, the Healthy Walk and Unisi Table Tennis Championship provided opportunities for employees to maintain their physical fitness, build teamwork, and strengthen relationships beyond their daily work routines. Through these activities, Unisi Hotel Malioboro hopes that the spirit of togetherness and sportsmanship will continue to grow as part of the celebration and ongoing journey of Unisi’s 10th Anniversary.
