Unisi Hotel Malioboro Welcomes the 2026 IMTI Team, Strengthens Muslim-Friendly Tourism Implementation

Unisi Hotel Malioboro welcomed the 2026 Indonesia Muslim Travel Index (IMTI) Team on Monday (August 24th) for a site visit to assess Muslim-friendly tourism in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The visit was part of the IMTI 2026 series, which involved the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, Crescent Rating IMTI, and Enhaii Halal Tourism Center (EHTC). This program conducted assessments in 15 provinces across Indonesia to assess the readiness of destinations and tourism industry players to meet the needs of Muslim travelers.

Held at Unisi Hotel Malioboro, Jalan Pasar Kembang No. 42, Yogyakarta, the event was attended by Unisi Hotel Malioboro management, representatives from the Yogyakarta Special Region Tourism Office, and stakeholders involved in the development of Muslim-friendly tourism. During the visit, the IMTI team inspected the hotel’s service and facility readiness as part of the IMTI 2026 site visit.
